The windfarm in the Hamburg harbour shows the limits of the technical possibilities in the wind energy domain. The harbour needs energy constantly, the wind turbines make a valuable contribution to the energy independence of the harbour and show the commitment to sustainability. These are the factors that make wind turbines so interesting for industrial sites.

A contemporary energy policy should always keep in the mind the responsibility towards future generations and manage ressources sustainably.
